A Global Talent endorsement can determine whether someone is able to build their life and career in the UK.
The criteria are published, but they are broad and do not necessarily tell an applicant what will be enough. That judgement can take shape only when an assessor looks at the individual case.
Applicants must choose and present a limited body of evidence before they know which aspects of their case will matter, what an assessor may question, or what further evidence might answer those concerns.
A review can expose more of that reasoning, but by then the evidence is fixed. The applicant can challenge the judgement, but cannot add the evidence they might have chosen had they known what would matter to the assessor.
